99 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Part 4 (Questions 31-40)

When I saw that Martha of I’d Rather Be Reading was posting answers to thought provoking questions, it reminded me that I still hadn’t finished posting the answers to the questions that I’d gotten from Katrin of Land of Candy Canes for 99 Questions You Should Ask Yourself. Rather than post them at once, I was splitting them up. I had already done Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, so here is Part 4 with questions 31-40.

31. What are you not made for?
Having kids. I know I am biologically made for it, and as far as I know I’m not infertile, but I lack the desire to do so, so in that way I’m not made for it.

32.What secret would you never want your partner to find out?
Even if I had a secret that I didn’t want my husband to find out, do you really think I’d post it on a blog?

33. Name 3 things you don’t want people to know about you.
I can’t really think of anything I don’t want people to know about me, but even if I could, I wouldn’t post it on a blog if I didn’t want people to know.

34.Why do you think your friends like you?
I have things in common with them. We have fun together. I listen to them. I’m sure there are probably other things.

35.How similar is your facebook-self to your real-self?
Pretty similar I guess in that I don’t put up a fake persona. But it’s also not very well-rounded since I don’t post everything about myself and a lot of things I share end up being kind of one-sided and based on what’s going on at the time or what I come across, and sometimes that gives people the impression I’m “obsessed” with one thing or another more than I really am in my day-to-day life.

36. What is the most annoying thing about your partner?
I’m not going to answer that on my blog…

37.Why do you publish things on the internet?
To connect with people and express myself. Occasionally I also get to help people and/or inspire them, and that’s cool as well.

This is the game I’m currently playing, and the first one I’ve had time for in several months.

38. Do you have a hobby?
Keeping this blog is a hobby. I also write fiction and poetry. I read a lot of books. When I have time, I also play video games.

39. What do you search for on youporn?
Nothing since I do not use it and certainly wouldn’t reveal what I search for if I did…Who came up with these questions?

40.Whose Facebook inbox would you love to read?
I can’t really think of anyone whose inbox I would love to read.

This is as far as I got into the 99 questions. I was getting them from Katrin who apparently got hers from a magazine and, unless I’m mistaken, the last post in her series stopped at Part 4. Given that about half the questions this time were not really blog appropriate, I am not really surprised if she gave up on them and I was starting to question the worth of continuing with the list myself, so it looks like the 99 questions will be stopping at 40. Many of the thought provoking questions mentioned at the beginning of this post seem a lot more interesting. I am not sure if I’ll do them all, but I’ll probably post sets of 10 or so at random points in the future. It won’t be too soon though because next time (and for a few posts after), I’ll finally be telling you about Spain! Whoo hoo!

6 Thoughts on “99 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Part 4 (Questions 31-40)

  1. Thank you for answering the questions! 🙂 I agree that some are really weird. Yes, I got them from a magazine. I guess I should still finish them at some point. I mean, there are still a lot of questions left. We will see how weird they will get….:)

    • You’re welcome. 🙂 Yes they are. Haha well let me know if you do. Maybe I will. If not, a lot of the ones in that “thought provoking questions” link seem interesting and perhaps more worth blogging than the ones in this set lol.

      • Haha yeah, I guess you are right about that. I think a lot of the questions from the magazine are just questions you can ask yourself but not share with others. 🙂 I will have a look at the rest of them and decide what to do. Maybe I just pick the better ones and ignore the stupid ones. 🙂

  2. A lot of these were really weird! Maybe if my family didn’t read my blog and it wasn’t published under my real name/face, I would answer them, but not as is lol 😛

    • Yeah they were. I know right. I like keeping my blog under my own name, but it definitely makes me have to think twice about the things I post, both about myself and others. I generally just refer to “a friend/friends” when other people have been involved. On the occasions I want to use a picture with someone else in it, I always ask them if it’s okay first with the exception of my grandmothers who had both already passed away. I don’t think they would have minded though. My husband said he trusts my judgement and I don’t have to ask him before mentioning him/posting pictures, but I usually do anyhow.
